PRE-RACE AND RACE DAY DETAILS
Although this race is fully supported, keep in mind that the course follows steep and rugged, singletrack trails in the high altitude mountainous
terrain around Ouray (base elevation 7,700-feet). The course gains over 3,600 vertical feet and includes many steep and loose sections.
Another factor is the often unpredicatble fall weather in the San Juans which may range from a mild sunny day to a blizzard. Ultimately,
you are responsible for your own safety and the use of good judgement with regards to your ability to enter and finish the race.
